For parents
What is a football trial?
A trial is a selection event to evaluate players for academies, state teams, or scouting platforms. Read the eligibility and age cutoffs carefully and carry original documents.
What to bring
- Government ID for the player (Aadhaar/passport) and birth certificate
- 2 passport-size photos and photocopies of required documents
- Proper kit: studs/boots, shin guards, water, light snacks
Red flags for paid scams
- Asking for unofficial payments or “processing fees” at the venue
- Demanding money beyond the officially published fee. For example, IKF Season 6 states boys pay ₹125 (city round) and it’s FREE for girls. Anyone charging extra in IKF’s name is fraud.
- WhatsApp forwards without an official source link
